About Julio

Julio Cen is a Native Mayan and was born and raised in the Yucatan. He is the oldest of six brothers and he came to the Island of Cozumel fourteen years ago. While working in general maintenance here in Cozumel, one day he learned to scuba dive. It took him about a month to decide that there was more to life than being a general maintenance worker, so he took his first open water certification, and loved scuba diving right away. After a short while, Julio became a PADI-certified dive master, and started Dive with Julio. He has now been guiding dive trips for several years.
Julio’s friendly demeanor, knowledge of Cozumel dive sites, passion for diving, and attention to safety, have made him a favorite among novice and experienced divers alike. Dive with Julio has many customers that have been coming back for many years. |
